Any appliance dealers out there?
Specifically Viking.
I hate to use this board for this knid of stuff, but I am out of patience.
Long story short, I have a Viking fridge I bought in fall 2000 that is a POS!!!!
An electronic board quit in it a long time ago (less than two years aafter it was new) and I had to hot wire the fan to make it run. Since then neither Viking, my local dealer (doesn't carry them anymore, nor do they care), or the distributor will help fix this thing.
The fridge cost over $4000 new and is worse than some cheap POS I could have bought at a garage sale.
I thought Viking was the best brand out there. Boy was I WRONG!!!
If there are any Viking dealers/distributors out there that could help PLEASE let me know!
I intend on putting this in the bad business section as well, but I'm not sure if that would be for a brand or just dealers.

LG is attacking the US major appliance marketplace with a vengeance. They are Korean. Making nice stuff, too.
Confidentiality agreements bind my words, but it is safe for me to point out information easily located in the public domain, like:
* Their goal is to force the remaining domestic US manufacturers to either go out of business or move their centers of manufacture to eastern countries.
* They are assisted in this goal by their country's government, and have purchased large voting shares in US appliance mfrs in order to influence the outcomes.
Just thought you'd like knowing that.

You are right about a sub zero. Ah, hindsight.
Mcollinstn:
Great info. So will the Koreans fix my fridge? How do I get in contact with them?

Yes, they will probably fix your fridge. It will probably be better than it was new. They might even send you a thank you card with a salutation something like:
"Thank heart bottom you nicely. May happy forever days you always follow every."
