Welcome to the 2004 S.C.O.P.E. Long Beach Poker Run!

Once again … we are setting new standards for fun and excitement! To insure a safe and exciting time for all, please read the enclosed materials carefully as they will answer most, if not all, of your questions and concerns. We are very excited about our new location, the newly remolded Coast Hotel. While we have changed locations, we have not changed the fun, excitement and cash payouts. Once you park, you will never have to leave the hotel other than the Poker Run, as all activities are in one area. The hotel has put together very favorable rates and we encourage all participants to stay here. Dock space is very limited as most boats will have to launch at the ramp located next to the hotel. SCOPE is providing a wash crew for all boats once they are pulled from the water. We have secure big rig parking at the launching ramp and the adjacent parking lot. Be sure to detail your rigs for the “Show & Shine”. Trailers are not permitted at the hotel.

Friday is event commencement day! Feel free to arrive at the hotel anytime throughout the day. Please review the enclosed maps to familiarize yourself with speed zones and restricted areas. The first “official” event will be the costume party and casino night at the tennis courts, Coast Long Beach Hotel starting at 6:00. This party has historically been an absolute blast! If you can, make plans for this fun time. As most of you may know, the docks are under construction so most participants will have to launch in the morning. Security will be provided at the parking lots.


Saturday is the MAIN EVENT! Launch early!!
Breakfast will be served in the hotel starting at 6:30. After breakfast, launch your boat, pick your first card at Victory dock and meet at the transom of the Queen Mary for the official 10:00 AM start.
