Air Lift 1000 air springs.... installed on my last two trucks. Definately get individual fill fittings for each bag. I have my air fill fittings routed to become my upper rear license plate bolts, and it looks trick. It basically makes the rear of your truck into an adjustable anti-sway bar, towing or not, I love mine. $300+/- installed.

Firestone Ride-Right Air Bags are also used by a few members. Do a search on Air Bags, there is lots of info.

remember...the GM 2500 HD is the same as a Ford 1 Ton single rear wheel. GM doesnt make a 1 ton srw. I have a Chevy 2500 HD Duramax/Allison that pulls much better then my old ford 3500 srw. The Duramax is awsome and the Allison transmision is the ONLY way to go. I loved my ford but I love the chevy even more.

GM has an option on the 3500 to get SRW.

I will never own a truck without Air Bags helping the rear suspension. Changed my Tahoe into a totally new truck, and I installed them on my Avalanche when only towing 7K lbs, no where near full towing capacity. Now towing 12K lbs, they are really nice to have. When I upgrade to a dually, I will have them installed again.

Some of the h2's have the rear air bags fromt the factory.

i guess not or youd see more prob just get a dually for under 10k when i start looking

The Avalanche 2500 is/was not off the same chassis as the Tahoe and Hummer. The Tahoe and Hummer H2 are off a 1500 chassis.

2500 Avalanche/Suburban is on the old GMT 800 platform and had a beefier frame.
