If your vehicle is out of warranty only by miles i would call Chevrolet customer assistance the number is in your owners manual, tell them your problem I am sure they will help you get it repaired under a goodwill policy

Well,

Interior panel came off super easy, just a few hidden screws, then pop it up and out. Too bad it started raining too damn hard for me to stay out there and figure it out. Oh well, I'll get some work done, and go back out when the rain stops................

Maybe next week!!!!!!

That door panel does not have any clips (push rivets)... It is held on by one screw... Going by memory, you need to pull off the power lock cover, and unclip the wire that moves the lock, and take out a screw by the door handle.... Then lift up on the panel... Had both mine off to install TTT mirrors....

Go to http://www.ttt-mirror.com/pdf/FittingInstructionsGM.pdf

They have great instructions on how to take it apart.......

what is the in service date? if its under 3 years should not be a problem for customer asst to help with... have you had all you service work done by the selling dealer? that helps in the equation...and are you the first owner? there have been some issues with the regulators and yes the cost is not realistic! let me know how you make out I can find out my cost and shipping..most of the problem is in the cable assy and then kills the motor..the dealer has empowerment to make the call on covering it up to 4-5 years and 50k depending on history and there CSI rating..Good luck!
