Don't hit the panic button just yet.
About 15 years ago I had a opportunity to take a ride in a 36' Cigarette. It was equipped with a couple of potent BBC engines and #3 speedmaster drives. Sea conditions were 4 to 5 feet, patterns were a mess and that 36' Cigarette jumped up on top only to give the smoothest of rides. What a solid, quality boat. We didn't break any speed records and didn't get beat up in the least. A nice comfortable ride.
