Good Repair Shop at LOTO
I just got back from a good week of boating at LOTO but I did manage to blow up my XZ drive on the second day there. I was referred to Gene Eggl at Lightning Performance (573) 374-7974 .
It looks like he can do just about anything but looks like he primarily builds blower and alcohol drag boat motors. The only problem is that he is over near Laurie by Garvois Mills (the "other" side from Osage Beach).
I brought the drive to his shop at 11:30. He had the parts after lunch and the drive completely dissassembled and put back together by 6:30.
No, I bet I didn't get a discount rate on the parts but I was more than satisfied by his work and one day turn around. I won't mention the dealer I went to but they wouldn't even call their own repair department to see if there was any options.

I also had excellent service at Kelly's Port Marina. They are just a couple of coves over from Shooters. Those guys bent over backwards to make sure that I was able to get on the water. A+ boys!

I had snapped a shift cable leaving Backwater Jack's one night.
The next day I idled across the channel to Broken Arrow Marina.
Thay fixed me up with a new cable and charged me a fair rate.
