I went with a good friend to a party at Loto and missed it. I passed a Skater on a trailer as I got back to OKC today. Was anybody there? How was the turnout?

Yah Jim won alright...he beat my four aces with five queens! The turnout was awesome...3 skaters, several cigs, a nortech, 2 mti's, tons of fountains, 1 imp, 1 velocity, a ton of baja's, 2 really nice Donzi's and oh yes the hustler boys were there. Can't forget the Eliminators either. I took a bunch of pics...I'll post them tomorrow. By the way Friday night an AC/DC tribute band played that was as close to the real deal as I ever thought possible and then Saturday night the original Foghat played. It was a killer weekend

Fountain 38 I notice you have a 36Daytona. Do you know Dennis Atchley ?(has a 28 Eliminator Eagle) He is a friend of mine and he said he may go to Texoma on a friends 36 Daytona. Just wandering.

Had a total of 76 boats, with over half being "serious" performance boats. Actually had 5 Skaters--B'yond Reason, US-1, Blowout, Adrenalin and a Skater with twin outboards. Also, a DCB with 1000"s.

Sounds like a great weekend, how much were the winnings? I bet they didn't buy Jim's fuel for the weekend :eek: LD how are the crashboxes treating you?

actually, it was four queens and two jokers (=6 queens), but your trophy looked nice next to Jim's at our table.........(Mike's uncle).....

p.s. I'll sell that IMP for ya here in Miami...hehehe

all in all, a great weekend with about 70 boats turning out......

this is Frank, Mike's uncle....and yes we did, it is SWEET, saw 102 mph on the gps and had a little more but we ran out of lake...hehe......flat as glass :(....can't wait to see what it will do in salt water with couple foot chop :rolleyes:

It was good to see all the nice hardware this weekend. I was driving the 47 Bluewater with HotBoat photographers that a few of you buzed. It was awesome to say the least.

Hawk40, is that your Bluewater you were piloting? I had a buddy anchored beside you as B'yond Reason was making passes. He called me so I could listen to the horsepower go by. I missed the run... was in Galveston soaking up rays!!! :drink: :cool:

Not my Bluewater, That would be Art and Cheryl Zunkers boat. I believe your friends were in the 24 Baja from Cedar Creek. B'yond made a sic pass at 140+ right by us.

Warparty, the crash boxes worked very well , the throttle response from 120 up is mind blowing, feels good not to have to worry about the trannys. any more!!! Looking forward to LOTO!!!!

cool, I was hoping pics would get posted. we went just to be on the lake and a poker run broke out. :D my digi cam went down just as freedom us-1 and byond reason were getting stretched out on the first leg. Awesome. I must schedule an offshore race soon. lots of good hardware there and a great time. was hoping to see more graitutious nudity on the island though :rolleyes:

I think there were some people from cedar creek next to us also. I have other pictures that didnt come out too good. There was a 32 sunsation that was flying up front with all the cats, he came by so fast i couldnt get a good shot, it was the fastest V to my knowledge. Looked like a chicken painted on the side.

That would be a sunsation owned by Chris. It is a dragon painted on the side...be glad you weren't in the boat as it broke down all the way up at the north end of the lake. He had to idle all the way back!

Looks like US-1 was up and running sunday morning. Does anyone know if the motor was hurt saturday?. He lost a blower belt and oil pump belt saturday.

motors were fine, but had to fly in a dry sump belt from Oklahoma because no one had one in the whole area :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ....finally got it together saturday night.........
