Thank you for all who helped with Milwaukee
The APBA GMC Pro Grade Series race in Milwaukee was awesome due to a number of people who helped make it happen. Thanks should be given to the APBA club, especially the hard work of Bob Bull and Jim Poplin and their team for bringing the show to town. Local organizer Greg Sunila was very instrumental with sponsor correspondence and boat show organization.
The patrol boat team did a great job of keeping spectators at bay, and the team of Dave Thompson, Clay Ingle, and the one and only Sidney who worked their butts off getting some patrol boats in the last minute. And thank you to the many volunteers on land helping with crowd control and boat craning. Finally, thank you to all of the racers that made the drive to Milwaukee and put on a great show for the crowd. All indications look like we will have the race here for the next (3) years. I will be posting some pictures soon.

Re: Thank you for all who helped with Milwaukee
You are welcome from Saturday's "Turn Boat 1" crew.
Thank You APBA and all race teams for doing Milwaukee. We love you here.
One suggestion is many people locally did not hear about this event. I know there was some press coverage prior to, but the marketing is not good and some tuning would triple the crowd (and admission revenue).

Re: Thank you for all who helped with Milwaukee
It was my pleasure to attend and help out.
I agree with the local advertisement. Was very little I seen. Several people asked questions when they seen my boat. Also, was there a local radio broadcasting the race? No one knew that I talked with.
I learned alot be in the patrol spot I was in.
First thing was no matter how fast you decide to use the bottle (Restroom bottle that is), someone will try and cross at that time. Both times I had a major crossing of the bucket line was then Hard to drop and run if you know what I mean.
But it was great and I hope to be able to help out again sometime.

OT, also thank you for the use of the radio.
Now that I see how much one can use one I will be adding it to the list of upgrades and changes to my boat.
I already scoped out an install place in the boat for one

Dave,
More advertising is already in the works for next year. Thanks for your help. MN - glad to hear the radio worked out. One never knows when you may need it. By the way, I noticed the water was a little yellowish on turn (1). Were you sitting up there?
