End of summer near? It is only just begun here in So/Cal. Lake Havasu's air temp in Oct. is high 90's and water temp high 60's-low 70's.

I had trouble selling my boat during the summer and in fall over the last two seasons. This year I put it up for sale prior to the season(early spring) and I had people lined up to take it away. Couldn't believe it. For past two seasons, couldn't get a call, yet alone get someone here to look at it. In past other boats, I found the fall to be the time people are looking to buy at BASEMENT prices. We decided to wait out the summer and watch for the fall bargains to get our new used boat. And with gas prices, we're rethinking big blocks for twin small blocks.... go figure.... not sure if I could live with them. Good Luck!

I think gas prices have something to do with it. If you're spending 150 more to fill up your boat..... you may not use it as much, so you put it up for sale.

Gas?? It's part of owning a speed boat. I think if I was worried about spending a lot of money on gas I would be a sailor...

Not me, I use my boat religiously every weekend....

I'm not saying it's better or worse then last summer. I just think it seems like the past 2 summers have been rain filled
