Re: 525sc Pulleys???
To The Wood, I called Teague a couple weeks ago and they claim they use the pulleys to fit your motor. They use them for their Blower/ intercooler set up on the B&M 174's. I assume they r star splined. 2 3/4". They use the smaller pulleys to make up the boost lost after runner the intercooler set up. Also, Nickerson performancr in PA told me he has a pair for your blower ( I have same motors- 96' 525sc's) @ 2 3/4". I got a pair of original 3" through CP Performance and I still had to file the inside of the Pulleys to get them to fit. You may have to do this as well. Also, Wilson Arms Co. in Fl. 912-265-0774 may be able to fafricate a set for you. He makes pulleys for Chief engines. i am sure he will need some originals to "knock-off. By the way, I have a pair of 2 3/4" shallow dish splined that i took of my motors for the originals. I was afraid to run 8+ lbs without coolers, but i may need them in the future.
Good luck, what kind of boat you running |
Re: 525sc Pulleys???
I have a set of smaller pullies that fit a 1997 525 sc. I do not know how much boost they made but I think they were around nine. I also think that you must put more tension on the belt . when they were on my motors at high rpm the belt would slip from time to time, I went back to stock pullies.
