It would seem Outerlimits still holds a record and the farm boat has been put out to pasture.... I also think interest was waned significantly. Horsepower has increased though.... You can order 1750hp direct from Mercury. Back when Reggie was driving his company into the ground trying to kill cats, 1750 was exotic custom one off power.

I have a pair of 1700’s in the shop from factory billet, full flex fuel run on 87-116. Made 1700 with 93. Crazy how far technology has come |
