Re: Aronow edeucation.
I also called on that one listed here in Austin a few months ago and got the same response, nothing. So, I bought a 1976 28SS that I've talked about in other posts. That HangTime boat is very cool!

Re: Aronow edeucation.
IMP never had the 27 Squadron mold. A company called All Season Industries that made Imperial boats did buy an "extra" (moved out of a north Miami warehouse at night) mold and made a few 27"s. They were no where near the quality of the Squadron though. IMP's 31 was a Magnum though. The story I got (when I was selling both IMP's and Imperials) was that IMP wanted to build a sport boat and the parent company APECCO (American Paper Electronic Copy Company) also owned Magnum and had a mold sent to IMP.

It almost seems to have a Cigarette logo on the back deck. But again, I've been told that Cigarette never built a 27' with a cabin. The boats with the cabins were all built after the molds were sold to "IMP". Did "All Season Industries" put a cabin in them?

Re: Aronow edeucation.
The All Season Industries/Imperials did have a cabin as I remember.

Re: Aronow edeucation.
Remember IMP and Imperial were two seperate companies with no attachments to each other. I just happened to sell both makes at the same time back in the 80's. It got the buyers confused quite often.
