Yea, Julie said that the tractor pulled their RV out on Wednesday when it got stuck so who knows. Could be that the weight difference did it.

The difference is a little alcohol and a few buddies screaming come on you can bet that GMC. Oh and the fact that each one of them got about 10' of slack in the chain and then put the hammer down. man I thought they were going to tear the front end off of the GMC.

GO PSD.....THE ONLY WAY TO PULL ANYTHING FROM A TRUCK TO A BOAT. Sorry Shane, this is Mitch again. I'll be nice under your name. :)

While I believe that the Ford did what you said, there is no way that this accurately reflects a Ford vs. GM vs. Deere comparison. If the Ford had to pull both the Deere and the semi out, then this means that the Deere got stuck too. The only reason for this is that it could not get traction and sunk into the Carolina mud. I noticed that the Ford was 50’ away, while the Deere was 5’, how did ground conditions differ from these two locations? Also, was the GM lacking the power to perform the task, or was it just not able to get traction. If it was not able to get traction how did the tires compare, and was it a 4X4. There are big difference in traction and torque when trying to pull somebody out of the mud in 2 wheel drive vs. 4 low. Also sounds like the guys in the GMC didn’t know what the hell they are doing. Living in Colorado I pull at least 2-3 people out of the snow/ditch every year. Traction, not brute force is the key.

I’m not trying to say that one truck is or is not better than the other, but if you are going to skew the facts, it just shows a bias which discredits you. The reason we respect the Kilo races is that they reflect different boat manufactures capabilities under the exact same conditions. I bet you that I could beet both Fountain’s and OL’s entries if they were running 5” pitch props, vs. my 28”.
