I'm not stirring Rog, Fountain has proved themselves, again.

Is the course at LOTO long enough to get "true" kilo speeds? I know some of the big boats take longer to get to speed.

You may not quite get there, but Russells boat
ran 138......not too shabby

Another thing about the shootout.

There's a pretty large audience there.

how many miles to they run in a "true kilo" before the measured kilo to get up to speed. I always hear that the LOTO shootout doesnt have enough acceleration lane (I think a mile) for the big guns. Big Thunder was always accused of taking a running start of about 20-30 mph at the starting line. I dont think that really amounted to much more top speed at the speed trap though.

I think that elavation is probably an average Cord. You could easily add or take away 100' one way or the other depending on which cruiser wake you are on at the time.

I don't remember many Fountains running the Shootout last year. Would be nice to see a couple of them this year, even if its not Reggie himself. Hell after watching the promo video, they hold the v-bottom world record in 5 categories, now bring just one to Lake of the O...
