OT: Girlfriend needs job
 

Due to corporate downsizing , Bon Secours is closing one of there facilities in Saint Clair Shores. Which puts my girlfriend out of a job. They do have a place for her at another office but she has to take a paycut. She's barely supporting herself and 3 kids right now. She is going to take the paycut but is looking for work.
She is a certified Plybotomist (hacked the spelling on that) which is basically a lab tech, takes blood, blood pressure etc.
Personally I think she needs a career change , this woman needs to be in sales or a bartender. She has an awesome personality (and is hot too) , you can put her in a roomful of people she doesn't know and within minutes she will have them laughing and talking.
The past few years she's had a streak of bad luck that she just can't shake.

I'll keep my ears open too Chuck. You should post that in the Job Connection forum on LSCN, they usually know of lots of jobs.

A couple years of bad luck, how long have you 2 been together? :) Just joking buddy, I hope Kim finds something soon!

I thought the same thing when I posted that !! It has been 3 1/2 though.

Wow....in sales or a bartender? That's quite a career difference!

I know sales and Bartending are WAY different but they are both people oriented shops and she would be good at that.

The Medical sales thing would be awesome for her, and would solve the money issues but I think it requires a degree.

I just had an idea if she is going to be out of work anyway, she could get her feet wet in sales by helping sell those Swipe Wipes. I just was on the phone with Dan and I have a feeling some good things are going to be happening with those products, and with your marine connections you could help her.

I know of a sales job in Port Huron... She would start off with a salary while training for 4 months and then make around 100K the first year, and from there is only up.... She would have to like finance though...
