This is the BIG ONE in this area in some 80 years..Im hopping when its bands start rolling over land it will begin to disorganize and lose alot of its strength.

Cuda my friend, Keep me posted on the surge I figure Im 8-10' above sea level with the bay being 50' from my back door. Only protection I have is some mangrove bushes between me and the water. My place is in Pasadena cove off Boca Ciega bay near the Cory cuaseway

I called mom and threatened to come drag them away. My brother and brother in law are there, so I feel better knowing there are some able bodies there to help dad since he's 77.

They are high enough that they won't flood, they may end up without power, but they have a generator and a generator in thier motor home. They also have a gas stove in the MH they can cook on. The water tank in the MH is full. I'm breathing easier right now, I was getting panic attacks this morning about them.

Johno called and said there is very little traffic on the roads, and police are everywhere.
