Charley is closing in on FMB area!

In less than a few hours from this writing I may not have much of a house left. Charley looks like he will hit hard on Fort Myers Beach.

Yesterday everybody was moving out. Jammin from NJ keeps his 43 Nortech at the end of my channel came down and took his boat off the lift. People are out removing their boat covers, moving the boats etc. It is pretty sure at this point we will have at least 8 foot of surge!

The bridge to the beach was closed last night. That means anybody who was left on the beach has to head south through Bonita Springs to access the mainland.

Teco Arena is being used as a shelter and thousands have flocked there for safety.

At this point we are anticipating total devestation of the first floor of the house. At least we have no boats in the water.

The Harley "V" Rod and Infinity QX4 will probably not survive as well. :( :(

I sure hope you are finished moving your valuables to a safe area. If not you really don't need to be on OSO right now. Take care, stay safe and don't take chances.

Best wishes to you
Roby

They show the track going right over us now. We are over 200 miles from where it will hit land, but they still expect it to be a Cat 2 when it comes through here. Orlando is panicking now.
