Its 100% true , Jack went over there and built the boat . Its now in a warehouse in FL.

My cousin whom is in school for a long time had a 34 Cayote built like a tank with twelve bulk heads in the cabin and six inch stringers. He used to finish a race and then head to the Island of adventure for merchandise untill he got caught in the late 80`s with a large sum powder. He had two 700 United Race Engines by Chuck Cessi and the boat only ran 65 in any condition. That boat was sold at auction in 1992 for $7000.00. Searace is the best on hands view you can get for the history of Offshore racing.
