Charlie : Too close for comfort....
I hope all the best to those who were hit with Charlie. God Bless all that have occured a loss. A Cat 4 storm is a serious storm. They say Sanibel Island had 160 homes destroyed. I live on a island also, and if the storm would have hit right where they predicted, we would have been destroyed like Sanibel !!! I feel for all who have lost with this storm. Here's some pic's.... First is of us boarding up, then we finished the back. We were all tired around 1:00 am including Jake.

What a relief to come home yesterday and find no damage or clean up. A close call....Time for a glass of wine and watch the 'Hurricane Charlie Sunset" Dave Warden

Wardey,
Luck was on your side, good for you. I'm still trying to get word about my place in Bonita Springs. Very hard to get a call to even go through. Watching the cable networks is just unimaginable thinking of the destruction and all those people who lost everything. Hope everyone up in the Carolina's fairs well.
