Boat Theft Recovery...
From another thread and going further here, has anyone used or is anyone familiar with the various vehicle theft detection devices available on the market?
There are some great devices out there which are like Lojack on steroids.
They're an-all-in-one units, which vary in size but most are about that of a cell phone which can be easily hidden.
You can set them up to alert you via their built-in cell phone if a boat/car/etc is moved more than a set number of feet. If it senses that the boat is moving through it's GPS, it will alert you and track it's movement.
Here are a few for instance:

For the cost of some of our boats, I would think this would be a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Seems that the ins discount would pay for the device. I saved a ton on my car ins premium when I added a Lo-Jack w/early warning and Viper Responder units...Any ins guys have a definite answer?
Thanks for the info Daze
