Imco Stand Off Boxes
Hey,
does anyone has experiance mounting stand off boxes from imco? We have!!!
I bought last januari a 97 scarab 38 in florida and shipped it to Belgium,Europe where I live.
I also bought stand off boxes and imco lowers for the drives.
When installing the boxes we saw that there is no space for the silent choice system of my cmi's. No problem a few calls to the states and we had pictures how to solve this and what pieces to be custom made. A mayor problem you encounter whem you want to put the engines back. The holes do not fit at the back of the engine!!! We called imco and they told us of the record that we where right!!!! Can you imagine that!!!! We have put in the inner bracket of the transom assembly of the normal bravo 1. This should not give problems because I only run 502 mpi slightly tuned to 500 hp
I hope this info can be of any help to someone

Re: Imco Stand Off Boxes
How tight did you make the transom bolts? If you over tighten the transom, it'll crush and the bolt holes will move together. Been there, done that.
