Jay Miller Poker Run 2004

Took me a while to resize these and get some more scanned, but here a bunch of pics from the Jay Miller Poker Run last month. Run was up in Cape Cod MA from Falmouth to Hyannis to Oak Bluffs to Wood's Hole and back to Falmouth. I think there were about 40 boats running
What a great time and some killer boats. Todd from Ocean Performance was riding shotgun in my boat and got the cool action photos - thanks Todd! Raft up in wood's hole at a house boat was very cool start with those pics... John |

Re: Jay Miller Poker Run 2004
Love those boathouses in Woods Hole. The noise coming out of Falmouth always drives the people at the Flying Bridge nutz. Heard the water was a little rough this year.

Re: Jay Miller Poker Run 2004
The first leg from Falmouth to Hyannis was great conditions. The rest were pretty nasty, especially from Hyannis to Woods Hole. Had to throttle back quite a bit on that leg, we took a beating at first until I slowed down and even then it was pretty abusive.
After the run I had to head over to Sandwich. Buzzards bay had to have 5 - 6 footers. At least we were running with them and not into them. That was a great run, will definitely be back for it next year. |
