Whats the excuse for Manhasset?
We were outside Bridgeport on Sunday for the poker run and couldnt believe that Maximus was at least 5 miles ahead of any other boat like Redwind 46 skater/1400 hp, Color me bad 36 skater 150 mph...Outerlimits and the rest of them. Now I can understand the v boats getin beat but if these Cats cant run in a 2' chop what good are they??? That Maximus is bad ass...had to be goin 120 when it passed us with or without an engine hatch!!!!

Maybe he's just a better navigator.
Or maybe he just knew the route to take so he wouldnt have to slolom the lobster pots.

I was outside bridgeport as well but it seemed like i was the only spectator in a performance boat. At least i didnt see anyone else. From what i remember the cig was first followed by the nor-tec then the big skaters. From my prospective it look like the cats were riding great just not as hard. Both were really goin though.

That was a pretty big two foot chop. I guess the 1/2 million boaters out on sunday didn't make any waves .
I'm sure Ozzy was close by..
Johnny O , would have been right there if he did not loose a power steering belt. 42 GTX.
Color Me Bad had a little motor trouble.

I thought the conditions were pretty mild. I ran flat out in my top gun the whole run. I can't speak as to what it would be like at 110+ in those conditions, but I ran 80-85 just about the entire run. There were few times I had to back off at all in conditions like that.
Stormrider was sitting in the back of the boat with the arm rest down, I thought he was just working on his tan....
Seriously, I thought the conditions were very mild - at least for the speeds we were running and how my boat handled it.
