Not to hijack your thread, but I know of a Wellcraft scarab 40(?) that can be had for a song. The boat is absolutly totally mint. I'm pretty anal about these and this is a really, really sweet boat! Plus, the price is right. Any interest?

Now that's a tough spot to be in.

The AT is more of a "performance" performance boat.

The Formula has nicer amenities.

Depends on what you will be using it more for.

The AT will probably be a bit faster, but that 336 is a solid "wave crusher" for it's size. I'm assuming it's a "non-stepped" hull, a 336 SR-1. It will handle some rough water.

Formulas hold their value extremely well.

I have an 89' 311 SR-1 and it still does not "rattle". Anywhere.

There's A LOT of mid/late 80's Formulas running around out there in great shape. A solid testament to the quality of that boatbuilder.

I would choose the Formula, but I like to overnight (when it's in the water that is, doing an exhaust swap out) and go on weekend trips. If you want it to just blast around, I'd go with the AT. Just my two cents.

Good luck, no matter what you choose you can't go wrong.
