She will be a river runner. I don't need the huge top end, and heart pounding wave action is not going to be an issue. There are posted speed limits of 50MPH (it sucks), but boating for me mostly is just cruisin' around and hearing those puppies rumblin. Thanks for the compliment! I will be sure to post pics of the progress as it happens.

Take care, Drive safe!

The only thing about her I don't care for is the Priss pink accents in the upholstery! It's all in great condition for her age, but the pink has got to go! Any suggestions for a color/ pattern change?

the cheapest way is to have your vinyl guy remove the current pieces "needs all the seats, engine cov and panels to do this" of that "color"and cut new patterned pieces from a color you like and that also goes with the current colors. that is the cheapest method, if you go all out you could redesign the whole thing from the ground up $$

Yeah, I probably let them go a little too cheap as I am finding out by the 7 or so people who have wanted them NOW! :D :D Oh well, I wanted to move them quick as I have new engines coming next week. Wateronthebrain is happy and I am happy so all is cool.

Water, the Fountain looks great. Nice garage also. Talk to you soon.

I agree I don't like the pink either, the whole pattern seems pretty busy, are you redoing the complete interior or just replacing the pink. If it is just the pink I would say your only choice is to use more blue, or white which might be hard to match. Nice looking boat looks newer than 91, where in OH are you going to run it?

Nice score on the motors!! Another less $$ method of changing the color is to Vinyl die them. You spray it on like paint. I have had success doing this on a 92 Nova. That was 8 years ago and it still looks great. You would never know it was done.

Good luck.

I am going to run it in the Lake of the woods area( Northern Minnesota/Southern Canada). Its Kind of like Lake of the Ozarks. Thousands of miles of rock, Hills and evergreens, pristine fresh water. You can get quite lost if you dont have GPS.

Ms Patriyacht- I think you're right. It's a pretty busy pattern and could probably use a darker blue than that horrid pink.

Rippem and Open - It takes me 1.5 hours of #%@$## around to get her in the shop. It's too small for me now, but I built her 22' by 40' with a front door. I slide the back end of the boat in first, unhook from the rear receiver of the truck, support the trailer frame with rolling jacks, and push it gently in sideways. I only have half a foot at the beak, and 1 foot to the wall behind the swim platform. If the boat was half a foot bigger, she would not go in!!!!!!
