Donna and Ian, hope the recovery continues to go well.

Mike, the airport gate people hate me making them hand check my film, I bet they LOVE you! It's great to see the positive attitude you seem to have.

i wish other drivers had more consideration for bike riders. i am not asking for any more consideration than any other vehicle would get. but the reality is that most drivers behave like bikes are some sort of inferior vehicles over which they have permanent priority. or even worse, they behave like bikes are not even there.

Mike, at least you are here to tell the story... two of my friends were not so lucky. In both cases, cell phones turned out to be a factor.

Hey Mike, if you are ever going to be stuck in RDU for a while, let me know. I'm only a few miles from the airport. I'm sure the whole "inspection" is a pain in the butt.

Based on everyones body part problems, I am going to ask Steve to add a broken bones forum :D I know who we can get to moderate, I met him at SOTW, he was from OK and is an ortho guy with a 50' Nortech Cat on order.
Darn those bone docks do good, just between Ian and I we have used them 3 times in 2 yrs

Fever Mike, I've read some of the threads about your injury and recovery. I am impressed with the way you got right back up and into your life again. You are a real power boater. I agree with Super T, if people watched for motorcycles, I'd still be riding.

I agree.....takes a strong willed person to overcome all of that!! Good job!!

Question Mike.....How does the C-leg actually work that makes it different from a normal prosthesis?

how long will you's be in for, Ian's are supposed to be in for 4 months
that means he will still have them for Key West.

Donna Let's get him a few 190 octanes at Fat Tuesday's friday night of the races in key west and then take a pair of pliers and pull those baby's. Now that would be noteworthy. NK
