OPBA Long Labor Day Poker Run CANCELLED
Hurricane Frances has forced the cancellation of the Poker Run with FPC due to the unpredicatable path of the hurricane.

It's extremely unfortunate but they had no choice. This is OPBA's premiere event of the year and a lot of work went into the planning of this run. Mother Nature is just no cooperating well this year at all. A month ago a "fun run" to Eggmont Key was cancelled due to weather, although Addiction and I eventually made the run in his phenominal Cig 42 TS Tiger. Another Poker Run to coincide with the ST.Pete OSS races were cancelled because of the "green weenies". And other but I won't go there.

It's a shame to cancel, but it's a good choice. This weekend is totally unpreictable and people should be preparing for the worst.
