There are a lot of posts about businesses that don't take care of their customers. Please read about some that do.

My boat was returned to Cigarette for repairs necessitated by a "bad Business". Neill called me yesterday to let me know the boat was finished and to make sure my insurance is good for hurricanes. I immediately called my agent Bob Luellen who reminded me I do not have coverage for Hurricanes since we never have them here in the Seattle area.

He immediately called his friend and my new transporter, Joy of Powerboat Transport and concierge to ask for help. Her trucks were all out on deliveries. I was supposed to give her a week's advance notice for pick up.

After hearing of my plight, Joy personally drove down to Opa-Locka and waited for Neill and his crew to shrink wrap my boat (which took hours) and drove it back to her yard so that her nearest driver could pick it up at 3 am tonight and get it out of Florida.

Never once did Joy say anything other than "don't worry, we will take care of you". Never once said "we need to discuss $$".

She just said this guy needs help, Jumped in her rig and drove all day to get it done.

Joy, I cannot thank you enough. Business people like you are a dying breed. You deserve the best and I am greatly indebted to you. I DO owe you one and look forward to doing something nice for you in exchange.

What I consider to be the three finest musicians Neil Peart, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson known as the band Rush, used this on an album cover and as a logo for many years.

The album, 2112, tells a story of an oppressive government that limits free choice and a musician that longs to be able to play freely. That is where the logo started.

The symbology is pretty deep and I dare not label it since I might have it wrong. Just read the Da Vinci Code and there were many references to the "Pentacle" as a symbol of the feminine goddess.

Be that as it may, The band was a big influence for me as I struggled to put myself through many years of college. They always strived to improve themselves and I really admired that and try to emulate that in my own professional endeavors (I am not a musician).

They are the worlds largest underground band, and in my opinion the fathers of "alternative rock". Way too many albums to recommend a starter, hard to go wrong if you enjoy hard rock with deep lyrics.

Tuesday afternoon I called Joy who I met at both Smoke on the Water and The Cleveland Poker Run and asked if she could help get my boat out of Cigarette. My story is very similar to 2112's. She had also transported my boat to Smoke on the Water and Cigarette's American Muscle. The service and care that she showed was second to none. She treats every boat as if it is her own!! I Honestly mean that! For those who know me I'm one of the most meticulous people, especially about my toys, you will ever meet. I never had any concerns about her service. Anyway, within two hours, after shrink wrapping of course, the boat was on its way out of Florida. I was totally floored at how fast Joy took care of me and never hesitated once. She was extremely busy and down one driver but still offered her assistance. My hats off to Joy and her company. Should anyone ever require their boats transported do not hesitate to give her a call. Pretty soon, those of us who really care won't even consider anyone else, we will only use one transporter;

Boat delivered safe and sound tonight, delivered directly to my shop as you see here by Joy's company.
