Anyone know this 26 Hustler in NY/CT area?
1986 26 Hustler
Bud of mine just looked at it.
New paint, interior looks new too, unless pics are old.
Twin 350s, 1 new, 1 needs rebuild.
Not sure of drive type.
Any opinions?
What do you think its worth?

what kinda drives on that? - I would guess TRS - getting harder to find parts for those.
It's a nice looking boat, but $28,500 seems pretty high (to me at least) for a 26' - 1986.
Twins on a 26' - and one needs rebuild - $28,500 seems very high. I'm sure you could find something else.
Wait until after this weekend - isn't Labor Day the official end of summer for the "PART TIME BOATER".

i also have been looking at the boat. the boat has alphas. i talked to the owner twice. he did all the work himself. without getting to interested in the boat he went down to 22k. i still have to sell my boat so i dont have the money for it but i am willing to happy you out if you need it.

Guys, don't get me wrong... this ain't for me.
Bud of mine saw it, started talking to the owner.
As noted above, w/o even trying to negotiate, the owner came right down in price. Very down.
Would you say 15-18k is a fair price for it?
How are alphas? Could they go for a few yrs more, and how hard to convert to bravos?

I agree - $15,000 - $18000 is a fair number.
Alpha's should be fine behind those 350's - but don't try to pump those 350's up. Hell, a pair of 350's in a 26' should move you pretty good.
