St. Petersburg Damage??

What is the damage in St. Pete, especially the beach area.
My wife booked a week in a beach front resrt/motel as a 70th birthday gift for her sister. A lot of my family has reservations (airline & motel) to participate in the celebration. I was going to drive in order to take a longer
trip thru Miami, etc. and up the coast from there. That part is out now I know. But how about St. Pete (especially with IVAN coming)???

I live & work in the area...minimal....very little damage. Drove around today, mainly the bigger trees saw some damage. The whole Tampabay area was very fortunate again! As to Ivan , who knows? Your guess is as good as anyone's.
Come on down.
