Settle down here fellas...
It wasn't an inside job.
There were only two of us here last week...Titos and myself.. All the other employees were long gone.
I high tailed it back to the parents place in PA, and Titos went to the west coast...
Then we come back to find the fence open and no drives on the 47.
There is 24 hour security here, but the hurricane seemed to scare them off as well.

These are #6 drives... not very easy to sell new, let alone hot....
The odd thing is tah there are other boats here with nice looking Bravos on them... I'd think they'd be after the Bravos more than 6 drives...

I didn't post this to get people stirred up. I posted in hopes that you all would keep your eyes and ears open... so that the drives can be returned to the gentlemen that owns the boat.

I didn't mean to stir up the posse, but it sure sounds fishy... for all the reasons mentioned above.

I didn't mean YOU Tim. I just meant that somebody had prior knowledge, knew the location, and had a reason to "lose" the drives, or had a need for the drives.

They weren't walking down the street looking for stuff to take. They already wanted the drives off of that boat and used the hurricane as cover.

I hope that they are busted, and I hope that you get a new gig fast Tim. I remember when you made the move. A lot of OSO folks thought that it would be good for you (and US). Ya gotta take chances in life. I'm sorry that you got caught up in this. You always seemed (still do) like a stand up guy.

i right away thought inside job meaning the owner of the boat....not National in any way. Put a boat brokered somewhere where they know it won't sell and find the right time to Steal thier own drives and collect a hefty insurance check for 3 # six drives.

The owner has plenty of $$. I don't see him pulling something like this.

Otis-

I've been reading these threads and really sucks about whats been done to you and many others. I have a few ideas that may help (of course no charge). I sell roughly 100 boats a year and have helped a few people get some problems solved through creative financing (all legit). The key to this whole thing for anyone - is to deal with your own bank, if you have a good relationship with them (which i assume most big boat owners would have due to the simple cost of these toys).

Call me Tuesday if you want. (843) 249-1000
