Default Re: oildyne pumps

I am going to follow this one up with a question. I have an oildyne/prestolite hydraulic pump in a 79 merc. The out drive slowly falls back down to the down position after being raised. I know this is in internal seal problem... but which one!? This has got me stumped. I tried tightening the springs to all of the internal valves with no success. Any thoughts?
