It's actually pretty amazing. Thousands of people gather on this small (mostly man made) island, to watch Drag boats. It happens all summer long. The competition is exciting to watch. To my knowledge it's the only place that a permanent boat race takes place. SQ

I think that 32 Thunder is Cliff Jeffers. I have not seen him in a while. Then again I have not been at the chain o lakes in a while.

Dave, if you want to go, we can take the big cat there. I have vip parking there if I want. Most slips are owned for the year on Thursday night.

Wish I would have taken some pics tonight. Some BIG motors! Fast Boats, Very competitive. Hot Chicks.
Next week - last race of the season. If you go, DON"T back into ANY spaces and keep the drive(s) up. 3.5 deep average on Grass Lake. I burn an impeller a season. Don't worry about rocks worry about mud.
