Boat Transport

Can anybody give an idea on the price and what to watch out for when hiring a boat transport company? I'm trying to get a friend to punt his MasterCraft and get a real boat. The boat is a 33' Donzi on a Myco trailer and need needs to go from Pennsylvania to Kansas. About 1250 miles one way.
