It's that time of the year again. Time to think about putting the boat away and planning a warm vacation spot. We went to the Dominican Republic last year. Stayed in Confresi Beach, Puerto Plata at the Hacienda Villas del Mar. It was an all inclusive resort and we had a three bedroom villa with our own pool and very private yard. The place was great except for the fact that most of the other people there were from France. The food also was not all that great. It cost $5000 for the week and that included airfare from Minnesota!

Does anybody know of this place? We are actually looking to stay someplace similar whether in the Dominican or someplace else. We mainly want the villa with a pool at a nice, all inclusive place. Anybody have any experience or know of any places like this?
