Yup, sounded like it had more power Saturday than it did when Cris owned it.

i know of 4 of those 24's, rev on's, my wife and i were in one on torch lake for a photo shot around 93 with the saber boys and hot boat mag. 1 all black one with twin 260s, yes i said twin 260's. and there dad was one they build a fishing deck on it,they moved the motor forward so you get to the transom. its a real neat boat.

mine was #3, at that time #4 was sold and i believe # 5 was a shell
(1994). # 5 later got outfitted with a beefy small block and painted
red and white like REV-ON. #6 is an awesome fishing boat for Father
Saber and Hot Boat wrote an article on a blue on white version with a
7.4 L. Yes there was a twin boat that was black with bolsters, probably
#2. Best days on a Sabre were #1 a awesome ride on Wet-trap with
Bob etheridge, and # 2 testing the 34 ft. enforcer with doug g. that
guy can drive a boat, we hit 76 mph in 2-3 ft. swells off grand haven
state park and i am still grinning 3 years later.

current owner on rev-on has played with a couple motors. his name is
Ed and he hangs at Big Bend, also sells hi-po parts as a sideline.
Really a nice guy. Boat will probably never see big water again and thats
ashame. Hardy has really got popular.
