Ron don't forget that boat was origanally built as RDS for Steven Baldwin and Kieth Hazel it was raced for 1 year by them and ran well at the AC worlds.

The article is done, I just want to check my facts. Such as "this is the ONLY 45' Apache ever built". Anyone know of another?

Its my understanding the Apache Heritage is also a 45 not a 50 and I am e-mailing you the 45 photos now

I may be wrong but I thought Apache Heratige was out of the 47 mold and it was 47 but they couldn't see over the deck so they chopped the front so now they call it a 45. RDS was dammed in the mold so it was always a 45. This was my understanding.

Apache Heritage was a 47'. The race number on the bow was 50, but the boat itself was 47'. There is a good picture of it in the Offshore Racing 2004 Race Boat Annual magazine sent out by Poker Runs America a month or so ago. That issue is volume 7, number 6 and the photo is spread out across pages 8 and 9.
