My daughter is named HANNAH, after Bob... I grew up riding and racing, and he was my biggest hero!!!! She loves to ride and watch racing... so that's pretty cool.

I remember Ossa. In my neighborhood the Maico 490 was the loudest fastest thing we had ever seen.Can Am's were there too but RMs and that dam Maico ruled.

I agree with you concering Maico. At the time, it was the only bike that would turn and not shake your fillings out in loose soil.
The open class bikes were made for real men. It's too bad that no development goes into them anymore.
Remember the open class races like Unadilla? Amazing how those guys hung on.
