2005 OSO/PowerBoater Winter Chill Out/Poker Crawl!
 

Just a mark your calendars notification.
(Not meant to depress, we still have a lot of boating yet this year!)

Saturday, 29 January 2005
(1 week before Super Bowl Sunday.)
Richmond, VA

Expect over 200 people (again).

Expect a Virginia Hold'em version of a short 2 stop Poker Crawl.
Stop 1 will be the Pre-Party Party hosted by the RPBA down the street.
Stop 2 will be crawling (running, walking, sliding, sledding) down the street to the Winter Chill-Out Party.
The Flop, Turn, and River cards will be revealed during the Winter Chill-Out.

More surprises to come.

OOOOO Yeah; its gonna be a helluva party, and we are definately going to top all previous editions.

This is a NOT FOR PROFIT gathering.
Its thrown by boaters for boaters, who love boating; when we can't, be boating.

I can't believe it is that time already! Ok, Brain, you changed the date....I had it in my calendar for Feb 5 but I can change that. Count us in.

Let me know if you wish me to provide assistance the same as last year. :drink:

Patti, I want to keep it away from SB Sunday. That affected attendance last year. The week before the SB should be an off week for the NFL.

Well, some folks did not want to miss, or be too worn out for SuperBowl Sunday Parties/Plans.

Remember this time it is a week before SuperBowl, so you will have a week to recover. Also, this is two weeks before the Miami Boat Show, so think of it as a warm up.

The host Hotel is being lined up again. I am also trying to get some live entertainment, and I think a few of you know which way I am leaning; no promises on that though, as they are expensive, and hard to book.

Reindl Powerboats is already on board for their Free Bat-Boat Race School Door Prize.

Sounds like another great time.!!! Those guys are really expensive if you pay by the hour after they quit, if its the same group that played at the RPBA poker run. We will mark that date down for sure.
