i own a fountain so i am ver impartial here..
if i was to buy a boat and lived in florida or longbeach ( ocean running only) i would buy a cig,,, but for the money u get more in a hustler,
the cust service in northeren calif from what i see is Super the dealer here takes care of his clients !! seems pretty rare in this boating industry,, atleast from my view, national doh...
i run with a sling shot all the time badass boat,, 007 prob one of the baddest ones in the country has 525's eveything was custom ordered and done to perfection from factory, it looks handles and runs killer.
you know its funny, the owner, he can actually really drive a boat like this, where most people think they can and on most runs he has the (remember 525's boat does 89-90 thats that seen it on gps) and guys with 1000;s 700's (me) etc are not at the stop before him..
because the boat handles good and more importantly he can drive it, sure he runs it but as he says thats why he set it up that way,
it cracks me up guys with ol's and all this chit show up sayint mine does 120 oh hmm,,,
this one will prob be for sale but prob only after he places his order for another...
if i had to do it again i would look at hustlers as they are good boats,
i would never buy a cig for a lake they are badass but its over priced tank... if its that windy and bad out there on that lake are u gonna be out? big poker runs like scope we do fine in our fountain and in reality a 35 is only a 32? and the hustlere is a true 39 -platform 37?
i would buy a hustler or look at active thunder 37's thats a sweet boat..

I would think the Hustler would have a lot nicer cabin,more plush.
I have looked at a few Outer Limits and the Interior on them is close to the Hustler,In the same size.
The front v birth is about 7 1/2 long, I have had 3 people up there before
The lower u shaped lounge has a ledge on it . I made a board to fit it and got Hustler to make a cushion to match the rest of the Interior .Makes a bed there also. I have had 3 of us there also. But side beside on there backs the girls complained ist not wide enough There feet almost would touch the celling.Plenty of room for me. My head has the vac u flush ,its is tight in there . The girls don't have a problem getting in there and they like a flushing toilet.I wish it was a little bigger with a sink in there . But all that stuff adds weight which is speed.
The front galley area and head is made like the cockpit a fiberglass liner. Hustler said it makes it stronger.Front snap in carpet.You can wash it out if you wanted to.Your could order a shower in the head also.It has storage under all the cushions,sink and in the head. You can fit in the front v birth compartment ,its that deep.Big hanging closet.Storage above the sink,
The water system holds 13 gall water. the ice box next to the sink will hold about 2 1/2 cases of beer ,2 waters and 2 diet cokes ,4 bags of Ice.

How about a 388 with trips. I would not want to work on these motors Tight. This will give you an idear how much room would be in front of a twin engine instalation

Thanks for the detailed info on the cabin. Looks like a nice cabin, maybe a little short in height but it looks nicely done and Strip poker's has alot of features.
