Re: Please pray for my Dad......
Don, Last year my mother experienced something nearly as serious. I'm clear that prayer DOES sway the way things will go. I will continue to include you, your father and your family in my prayers until I see a response posted by you.
Best regards,

Re: Please pray for my Dad......
Having lost a parent to cancer, my prayers and thoughts are with you. Somehow God gives us the strength to be strong for them and to somehow be able to be at peace in our own hearts.
I will offer my Mass for your family on this Sunday, may God touch your heart with the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Dyno, I am proud of all the positive responses and encouragements everyone is giving you at this time. It just goes to show how much we do rely on Prayers and God. I too have been in your shoes with my Father and Mother and It does help to have as many people Pray as possible. Keep the Faith, and keep God in your life. He will never leave you alone.

Re: Please pray for my Dad......
Lost my father to a stroke when I was only nineteen, now over thirty years ago. Never have gotten completely over it.
I wish you the very best of luck and that he is a "fighter" is the best thing, besides the support of you and his familly, he has going for him.
After having endured a completely shattered left shoulder which took me four years to get back, a three month kidney stone issue which required three surgeries, and 31 major skin cancer surgeries, it's all about attitude. Never retreat, never surrender, just will your DAD to keep on fighting. He's on our prayers. Russ
