Boat has platinum gauges, purple carpet and purple and yellow motor colors. like thesecolors. also want a little white as well. what boats do all you oso members think look the coolest out there, and what would you put on a 52' long v bottom. thanks. I"m very impressed by the lines on the Gladiator Typhoon has for sale in the classifieds. I think it has just enough to grab your attention while still complimenting the lines of the boat and not over-powering them. I'm sure others will agree that a consult with a top-notch paint shop will give you some good insight too.

Stay away from orange and yellow.
Every new boat out there seems to have those colors.
silver with purple, black, maybe even some electric blue.

You should think about the colors [you like], don't dismiss yellow ,orange or any other color if you like them you are the one that has to look at everyday. also keep in mind that the graphic design is one of the most important decisions you should make. we paint graphics everyday, and many times we repaint boats for customers that spent allot of money on paint work they were never happy with because of the design,not the quality of the paint. you can have the best painter in the world paint a poor design and it will still not look good.

I would stay away from ovals on the side of the boat and go for straight lines. Ovals tend to make the boats look shorter than they are. True a 50' boat can handle that, but the paint can accentuate the length or minimize it.

On that boat, understated is the way to go. The paint job, if overdone, can take away from the boat. I have always been a huge fan of more simplicity. Blue, silver, black makes a hell of a combo.... also MUCH cheaper.
