Re: Any car dealers on board??

Not sure about Galves but Kelley Blue Book (www.kbb.com):

Trade In: $19,725
Private Party: $24,020

And NADA (www.nadaguides.com):
Trade In: $25,825
Avg. Retail: $29,525

Not sure if this helps or not. Good luck :).

Thanks Dave,

I looked at both those (really close together arn't they  )but I thought car dealers used a different source.

I just bought a 2002 Denali, loaded with sun roof and 12,000 miles for $31,500 if that helps....

Re: Any car dealers on board??

We are looking at a 2004 Denali 4x4 loaded (except nav syst) sticker at $51xxx and they'll sell it outright for $37xxx. They know I want to trade in the Yukon but haven't seen it yet. I'd like to get rid of the 02 at the dealer than try to sell it on my own. Just curious as to what a dealer might offer.

Either way I think we've got a pretty good deal going on the Denali

Re: Any car dealers on board??

Just remember if you dont trade you will pay sales tax on the whole amount
of the new vehicle. If you trade you will only pay the tax on difference.
Thats how its done here in Mass and RI. Unless your lucky enough to live in a non Sales tax state.

I come up with $25525 trade minus $875.00 for mileage
that is
gmc utility 1500 slt 4wd.

Retail is $29025 minus 875 for mileage

I Work For The Number Two Ford Store In The Us, The Car Dealerships Use What Is Called A Black Book, Black Book Is What Tells The Dealerships What Cars And Trucks Are Running For At The Auction, Kelley Blue Is A Good Source Of Info But Never Corrct, There Is A Difference From 1500 To 3000.00 Less Then What Kelley Blue Says, Remember They Do Not Right Checks For These Cars The Dealerships Have Too.
