Why yes, as a matter of fact I was. :cool: I was one of the pace boats for the middle speed groups. Had a little problem with overheating due to weeds sucked into my oil cooler so I couldn't finish as leader. We did finish the run however as I cleaned out the weeds at the Showboat card stop. :)

Somehow I missed you. I was the one pulling all the girls into the bar and shoving food down people's throats at the campfire. Okay, maybe we were throwing food. ;)

I wish you would have said hi. I still owed you a beer. Glad the boat got fixed (or should I say was a rather easy fix). :)

Next year, look for the female at the camefire that talks the rest of them into going in for shots. That would be me...and that's the perfect time to get your free beer. :D

We were only there the first night. We had a wedding Sat. nite and while we were tempted to do the run, it would have cut time too short on the wedding arrival. And then there's Murphy's law which alway needs to be contended with. As it was, there were too many "looky loos" driving along the lake looking at scenery and three different people almost hit us with their cars because they weren't paying attention.

Besides...with my luck the trailer would have gotten stuck in the mud again - and being an idiot, I would have had my white pants on while trying to get it unstuck. LOL Although, I had by that time mastered getting the truck in 4wd. :D
