Default New Formula Boat Purchase

I am considering the formula 34 PC and am seeking some feedback from current formula owners (34 PC preferred) on the boat and manufacturer. (ride, performance, build quality, durability, etc.). Am thinking of powering with either the merc. mx6.2 horizon bravo three or mercruiser 496 magnum bravo three.

I don't own one but have looked at a couple. I owned a 272 1988 last year and it was a great boat. If I was ever to switch to a cruiser the formula pc would be it hands down.

My brother had a 1987 35 PC that he bought a couple of years ago. He had it surveyed when he bought it and the boat was still in excellent shape. The surveyor could not find anything wrong with it.

Funstuff- we have several knowledgable Formula guys on the board that will have the answers you're looking for

I was always curious about the way their financing works I was told that you pay very little for the first few years since you will more than likely sell it in that time....How does that work?

Dont buy the PC before driving the SS. Both are great boats and the PC has far more room. The SS on the other hand can still appeal to the Go fast boater who needs to have a "Family Boat". I have driven just about the full Formula line and cannot find too many things I would change.

Go with the big blocks. 496's will help your resell. Also, you should look into the 37PC. Formula has price the 34PC too close to the 37 and you can buy up for very little money.
