I don't think anybody can get the software from Merc unless you are a certified repair/tuner facility. I had heard that once the software is loaded it cannot be copied or transferred to another PC. May or may not be true. Who knows ????

Let me just say...it is out there right now. If you start selling it you may open yourself up for some lawsuits??? BUT, I would buy a copy if you get it. Been fooling around with it anyway.....

Are you speaking of the DFI systems as were used years ago on cars for racing? Today there are many new systems out that have a much broader scope of parameters and easier tuning capability. AEM makes one of the most user friendly systems that I have ever seen. My 1994 Ford Lightning makes over 1072 rwhp and still pulls 18mpg when cruising on the freeway with the AC on. These new systems are far better than the old school thought that has been handed down to the marine industry.
Getting a hold of the fuel management systems on Marine engines will net great gains in both performance and economy. If someone offers a decent upgrade to tune the factory ecu, I would entertain purchasing such. http://davidawilks.com/engineside.jpg |

Still haven't seen nor read anyting about price for the software and hardware...............my guess would be $2000 - $2500
