More info would be helpful. Like how many hrs did they have before the first problem.Engine specs. Cam type, solid or Hydraulic, blown or not How many hours on top end.
I'm not an engine builder but it the motors had any significant hrs on them before the first problem I don't see how it could be in the lower end.Sounds like something in the valve train to me which they or the head shop should have found.

The Thread in the tech section covers alot of the details but basicly stock 454mags ..Jasper Remanufactured with about 25 hours on them ...Hydraulic roller lifters with standard rockers ...not sure about cam specs ..I am sure pretty mild. ..head shop checked all the springs and said all was fine ....But i'm sure we will send em back over ....
