Best sources for Nautical home furnishings
I am 90% done building my new house on the water and I am looking for suggestions on where to find nautical stuff to furnish and decorate with. :drink:

Anyone have any sources for lighted palm trees? Wanted some for outside that don't cost $1700 each. I've seen some on boats, etc at marinas, never got the chance to ask where they bought them.

Check out a place called The Cargo Net on South Bass Island (Put-In-Bay) in Ohio. They have some really nice nautical antiques. Couple of older fellows who travel the coasts during the winter and restore items to pristine condition. They are not cheap, but their stuff is real ... not crappy reproductions or imitations like you will sometimes find in the catalogue/mail orders. |
