B-Max Blackhawk
3 Attachment(s)
I thought I would show everybody what I spent 4 months building. I kept breaking my lowers on the B-Max so I thought that if I had two props that I would reduce the gear load by 50%. I have put six hours on it at 1400HP, haven't lost the lower yet. I am pulling it this weekend for inspection I'll let you all know how it looks. I hope it looks as good as it performs!
Thanks, Tom Earhart |
Re: B-Max Blackhawk
Tom, what's the top speed of your rocket ship so far??
And, is that an aluminum spacer between the drive and the housing?? |
Re: B-Max Blackhawk
Waterfowl, the lake where I live is not to big, but I had it to 125mph three times Tuesday. The aluminum is a billet that was machined to replace the B-Max front shaft support and help support the Blackhawk. The Blackhawk is a one piece unit, so I had to saw it into and join the two.
Thanks, Tom |
Re: B-Max Blackhawk
Familiar with Gun Lake Tom. I can believe you would run out of room, as well as depth! I've actually been to your shop a couple of times. Once to dyno KAAMA Mark's motor with Jim Valako, and once to dyno SuperV's motor with Dave Ritter.
