Default Bayliner...Whats in a name?

This company has had quite a history,
Speed records, Murder, Smuggling, womanizing, Helicopter prison escape attepts, Kilo runs made without competetor invites, and a long history of homosexuality. So I ask,
Bayliner... Whats in a name?

And yes, its slow at the office!

Classic offshore..... I just brought in 3k at 130 mph on my 2855 Ciera.
BTW whats a Ciera?
Every time we have to touch these things we cringe. What a happy day when your new customer comes up to you and says ' I just bought a BAYLINER'. Oh cool, have you thought about your next boat?

Cheers,

Andy

Bayliner did for boating what the Beetle did for cars... made it affordable for just about anyone to own a boat.

I still can't help but snicker when someone who is not a boater says "I was out on my friends boat the other day. It was a really nice boat... I think it was a Bayliner? Does that sound familiar?"

At this point, I usually just turn around and talk to someone else rather than laugh in their face. Really nice.... Bayliner.... can they be in the same sentence??

What do I like most about Bayliner's?

The fact you can smell the resin cure for a whole boating season if not longer. The cabin smells like a fiberglass factory for months. You also have the "feeling" your foot is going to go though the bottom every time you jump a cruiser's wake. Gotta love 'em.

Yes this is true the people that should not own a boat now can afford one

They all have the following carictaristics:

Cant launch
Cant Dock
Cant Follow Markers
Dont Understand NO - WAKE
Have Ugly Wives / Girlfriends
Always Drunk
Always WAY OVER LOADED 9 - 10 people in a 24'
Never have PFD's on the kids
Always Broke Down
Usually Fat Asses
Cant get the POS on the trailer at the end of the day

Am I missing anything?

I'd rather be on a Bayliner that runs, vs a Baja that doesn't.

You got one of 'dem dare liner's? Why does the deck look like an inverted hull? Same molds?

I can envision it on a launch pad with boosters at it's side with that geometry easier than running on a lake.
